We select the right supplier or client for your needs, following every stage of the process closely: from the initial request to customs clearance, through to delivery.
Secondary aluminum
Secondary aluminum is produced by recycling and remelting scrap and/or aluminum-containing materials.
Secondary alloys are mainly used in automotive and motorcycle applications, but also in recreational vehicles. Given the number and range of applications, secondary alloys promise even more applications in production. The advantages of aluminum alloys — light weight, excellent mechanical behavior and good corrosion resistance — are the driving force behind new applications, new designs and the development of new processing solutions.
Below are some of the main alloys we work with:
| Alloy | Designation | Si | Fe | Cu | Mn | Mg | Cr | Ni | Zn | Pb | Sn | Ti |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EN AB-43400 | EN AB-AlSi10Mg(Fe) | 9.0–11.0 | 0.45–0.9 | 0.08 (0.10) | 0.55 | 0.25–0.50 | — | 0.15 | 0.15 | 0.15 | 0.05 | 0.15 (0.20) |

Primary aluminum
Primary aluminum is obtained directly from bauxite, a mineral that is first converted into alumina and then, through an electrolysis process, into metallic aluminum.
It stands out for its high purity and excellent mechanical properties. For this reason it is used in sectors that demand very high quality standards, such as the automotive, aerospace, construction, electronics and packaging industries.
It is supplied in ingots, sows or plates, ready to be melted and processed according to the client's production needs.
